The London office also provides counsel on energy transactions, assisting utilities, oil and gas companies, financial institutions, private equity firms, independent power producers, and project developers with corporate, finance, regulatory, and litigation needs. Immigration, labour, and employment services include guidance through the UK immigration system and advice on workforce matters such as hiring practices, dismissals, union issues, and regulatory compliance, often in collaboration with the firm’s global employment and tax practices. The investment management team advises sponsors and investors on private equity, private investments, hedge funds, taxation, regulation, compliance, executive compensation, and governance.

Further capabilities include a global life sciences practice covering transactions, litigation, regulatory strategies, intellectual property protection, employment matters, immigration, and antitrust issues. The litigation, regulation, and investigations group handles complex international disputes, arbitration, insurance recovery, white-collar matters, and fraud investigations, with particular strength in the energy and financial services sectors and expertise under the UK Bribery Act.
