Stephen Walker Mediation is a civil and commercial mediation practice based in London, U.K. The firm is headed by Stephen Walker, who holds dual accreditation in the U.K. and the U.S.A., and has been recognised in Band 1 by both Chambers and The Legal 500. In 2015, the practice gained accreditation as a specialist Online Mediator. Stephen Walker is registered with the Civil Mediation Council and the International Mediation Institute (IMI). Between 2013 and 2021, he lectured in mediation at King’s College London for the Master’s programme in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution, and has authored seven books for publishers including Bloomsbury and Wildy.

The firm has conducted over 900 mediations with about a 90% settlement rate, including more than 250 online mediations. It offers mediation‐arbitration (Med/Arb), online dispute resolution (ODR), in addition to traditional mediation services. The approach is designed to allow parties to maintain control over outcome and process, to avoid court, to reduce cost and save time. All settlement agreements are legally binding.
