The firm’s employment law team supports organisations in establishing and managing people structures and arrangements. Working alongside RSM’s People Advisory Services, the team combines legal, HR and employment tax expertise to deliver seamless and pragmatic advice on issues such as National Minimum Wage, holiday pay, equal pay and employment status.

The corporate law team advises on business sales and purchases, restructurings, reorganisations, demergers, simplifications, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, corporate tax, loan agreements, company formations, constitutional documents and shareholder exits. It has particular expertise in international business reorganisations, working with RSM’s tax, accounting and consulting specialists worldwide to deliver coordinated legal and tax-efficient solutions at critical points in a company’s lifecycle, including pre- and post-sale or listing.

RSM also advises on employee share schemes, designing tailored solutions aligned with business size, aspirations and objectives. Its legal services are supported by expertise in employment tax, HR, payroll, outsourced finance, company secretarial services, corporate taxation, accounting and private tax. As part of one of the largest multi-disciplinary practices outside the Big Four, RSM UK Legal LLP is recognised as the first multi-disciplinary practice to specialise in providing employment legal advice to large private sector corporates within a broader advisory offering.
