The SRA stated that, in these conditions, the terms are as defined in the SRA Glossary.

According to the regulator, the conditions are “necessary in the public interest” and are described as “reasonable and proportionate” in line with the purposes set out under Regulation 7 of the SRA Authorisation of Individuals Regulations.

The decision also references the regulatory objectives and principles governing the SRA’s activities as set out in section 28 of the Legal Services Act 2007.

The outcome was reached by the SRA decision and published on 28 October 2025.
