Peter Andre has turned to his legal team after a bombshell video surfaced of his ex-wife Katie Price dismissing his young children with Dr Emily Andre as “irrelevant.”

The leaked clip, shared by Price’s former husband Alex Reid, shows the 46-year-old reality star sitting beside a Christmas tree, casually counting thick bundles of cash while talking to her daughter Princess, 18. Despite twice being declared bankrupt, Price appears unfazed as she flaunts the notes and ridicules her ex-partner.

During the exchange, Princess asks if her mother will help with private school fees for her and her brother Junior. Price responds by gesturing with her middle finger and saying: “Your dad can sit on that.” She then goes further, branding Andre’s children with Emily — Amelia and Theo — “irrelevant.”

The remarks have horrified Andre, with insiders saying he is “shocked and disgusted” by his ex-wife’s behaviour. A source told the Mirror: “He’s so shocked that she would do this in front of their young child and saying his young children are irrelevant. It’s not about the money. How could a mother do that about young children?”

Andre’s spokesperson confirmed he is taking legal advice. “Peter is deeply concerned about this video and the impact of such comments. He has brought in his legal team to address the situation.”

The video, released by Alex Reid, has already caused waves online. Reid, who is owed £175,000 in High Court damages and costs from Price, said he shared the footage to expose what he called years of dishonesty. In the clip, Price describes him as an “a***hole” and boasts that he will never see the money. Watching the video back, Reid branded her behaviour “unbelievable,” adding: “She just admitted she lied. Has my legal team seen this?”

Reid later issued a statement: “Over the years, you have seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter, Keiran and others. Today I want to be clear. I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth. This isn’t about gossip but about evidence. It’s not about rumour, it’s about reality. After years of silence, the time has finally come to reveal all.”

Price’s representatives pushed back, insisting the video had already been shared with her Trustee in Bankruptcy. They claimed the cash in the clip did not belong to her and that the property she referenced had already been dealt with in financial proceedings following her divorce from Andre.

This latest scandal adds to Price’s troubled financial history. She was declared bankrupt in 2019 with debts of £3.5 million, including almost £1 million owed to HMRC. A second bankruptcy followed in 2024 over unpaid tax demands totalling £761,994.

For Andre, however, the focus is not money but family. His marriage to Emily, with whom he shares two young children, has largely been kept private. Sources close to the singer suggest he sees Price’s remarks as a line crossed, forcing him to involve lawyers to protect his children.

As the row intensifies, fans have been quick to rally behind Andre. Many expressed disbelief that Price would make such comments in front of her daughter, questioning the example it sets. With lawyers now circling, the fallout shows no signs of fading.
