Arbitration Chambers is an international chambers dedicated exclusively to independent, full-time international arbitrators. Its members include some of the most experienced arbitration practitioners worldwide, representing both common law and civil law jurisdictions with complementary specialities. Each arbitrator brings extensive skills and expertise to resolve complex international disputes. The members operate independently and do not accept instructions as counsel, ensuring the avoidance of conflicts.

Founded in Hong Kong in 2012 by Head of Chambers Gavin Denton, Arbitration Chambers expanded to London in 2017 and New York in 2020 in recognition of growing demand and the importance of these cities as seats of international arbitration.

The arbitrators at Arbitration Chambers are based globally and are recognised as leading practitioners in the field. Their practice encompasses both international commercial arbitration and investor-state arbitration, with frequent appointments as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator, and presiding arbitrator. The members’ significant experience, combined with diverse regional backgrounds, provides familiarity with a wide range of seats, governing laws, and institutional rules, including major and less commonly used frameworks.

Several members hold prominent positions at leading arbitral institutions, including Lucy Reed as President of SIAC, Juliet Blanch and Chiann Bao as Vice Presidents of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, and John Beechey CBE as Chairman of the BVI International Arbitration Centre.

The arbitrators are supported by an international team of arbitration lawyers, who provide administrative and legal assistance. Further information is available at www.arbchambers.com.
