A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Solicitor to join the Oxford office of a leading national law firm. This is your chance to work on high-profile planning matters integral to major real estate, funding and corporate transactions.
The Opportunity:
You’ll be part of a successful and growing Planning team advising developers, funders, local authorities and corporate occupiers. Typical work will include:
- Securing planning permission for complex development schemes
- Drafting and negotiating statutory agreements and planning obligations
- Pre-application advice and complex planning applications
- Advising on planning aspects of real estate, funding and corporate deals
- Development consent and permitted development matters
- Planning appeals, enforcement and judicial review challenges
You’ll also collaborate closely with colleagues in Construction, Real Estate and Corporate to deliver joined-up advice on large, multi-disciplinary projects.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE in planning law
- Proven experience handling planning issues on real estate or development deals, funding arrangements or corporate acquisitions
- Familiarity with planning appeals, judicial review and heritage matters
- Excellent client care, drafting and communication skills
