Winter & Co is a specialist maritime law firm established in August 2022 following the demerger of Winter Scott LLP. Led by Senior Partner Glenn Winter, with Ken Scott serving as Consultant, the firm combines the expertise of experienced lawyers and mariners with extensive industry knowledge.

The firm advises clients across the shipping industry, including P&I Clubs, marine insurers, shipowners, charterers, cargo interests, salvors, and oil majors. Winter & Co’s practice covers all aspects of maritime law, including charterparties, bills of lading, shipbuilding contracts, memoranda of agreement, insurance contracts, and salvage. The team is experienced in arbitration, court proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution, particularly mediation, and has been involved in significant cases such as The Starsin, The Ocean Victory, The Erika, and The Hoegh Osaka.

The firm also supports the Charlotte Children’s Village (Charlotte Baby Home), a UK-registered charity located in Adjumani, Uganda, which provides care for more than 70 abandoned and orphaned South Sudanese children. Winter & Co donates 10% of its profits to the charity to assist with funding health, education, and wellbeing initiatives.
