Donna Goodsell practices across all aspects of Family Law, including civil partnership breakdowns, cohabitation disputes, divorce and financial settlements, separation, emergency freezing and domestic abuse injunctions, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and all matters involving children. Her expertise extends to complex financial disputes arising from divorce or relationship breakdowns, as well as trust disputes concerning property ownership.
The firm provides bespoke services tailored to each client’s circumstances, using careful negotiation or formal litigation within the court process as required. Clients represented include business owners, investment bankers, professionals, and artisans. Donna is highly experienced in private law children matters, including prohibited steps orders, specific issues such as education, residential and contact disputes, and applications for permission to leave the jurisdiction.
Donna Goodsell is a collaboratively trained solicitor and holds Advanced Level membership of the Law Society Family Law Panel. She serves on the Law Society Small Firms Network Committee and is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in both Complex Financial Disputes and Children Law. She is also a member of the Resolution Dispute Resolution and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committees, co-chairing the latter. In addition, she acts as a mentor and has accepted an invitation to serve as a school governor. Many clients are referred through previous clients, reflecting the firm’s reputation for professional service.
In her spare time, Donna regularly volunteers at her local Food Bank.
