EDC Lord & Co is a long-established law firm founded in 1919 by Edwin David Charles Lord in Southall, Middlesex. Following Lord’s retirement after the Second World War, the practice was acquired by Jim Langley and Bill West but continued to operate under the EDC Lord name. Over subsequent decades, the firm expanded its presence across West London, opening additional branches and acquiring other established practices.

From its origins as a single-practitioner firm, EDC Lord has grown to employ more than 50 legal, administrative and support staff, including five partners, and is now based in Uxbridge. With over a century of history, the firm has consistently delivered legal advice to individuals and businesses, earning long-standing client relationships and a reputation for reliable service.
