The team also handles contested wills and trusts, charity legacies, and inheritance tax claims, serving individuals, families, trustees, beneficiaries, and charities.

Broadfield UK’s corporate and commercial team advises businesses at all stages of their lifecycle, offering expertise in takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, Main Market and AIM listings, and restructurings. Clients range from entrepreneurs and SMEs to larger corporate organisations with in-house teams and listed companies.

The development planning team acts for housebuilders, developers, and property investors on a wide array of projects, including affordable housing schemes, judicial reviews, planning appeals, village green matters, highways and CIL work, and Assets of Community Value. The team maintains strong relationships with major housing associations, national housebuilders, developers, landowners, agents, lenders, and funders.

The restructuring and insolvency team provides advice across distressed and stressed situations, working closely with banks, financiers, brokers, and insolvency professionals. Services include business restructuring, turnaround strategy, acquisition of distressed businesses, debt and asset recovery, directors’ duties, liquidations, receiverships, administrations, voluntary arrangements, bankruptcies, and pensions restructuring.
